What moves a web app's price

Roles and permissions
One kind of user is simple. Admins, teams, clients and partners who each see different things multiply screens and testing.
Your own logic
Calculations, workflows, scheduling and approvals are where most of a web app's build time goes.
Integrations
Each outside API, a CRM, payments, email, maps or AI models, needs connecting, error handling and monitoring.
Billing
One-off payments are simple. Subscriptions, trials, seats, usage billing and invoices take real work.
Data and real time
Live updates, file uploads, reports and exports each add infrastructure as well as screens.
Security and compliance
Audit logs, two-factor sign-in and data rules for health or finance add design, build and review time.

Web app cost questions

How much does it cost to build a web app?

On our Custom tier, an MVP usually costs $8,000 – $13,250, a SaaS product $11,750 – $17,500, a client portal $11,250 – $17,250 and a larger platform $19,000 – $25,000. On Signature, with a brand system and motion, the same SaaS product costs $32,500 – $44,750.

How much does an MVP cost?

A focused MVP with sign-in and the one feature that proves the idea usually costs $8,000 – $13,250 at our prices and takes 8–12 weeks. Cutting features is the most reliable way to launch sooner and spend less.

What does a web app cost to run?

Hosting and a database usually cost $25–200 a month at the start and grow with users. Add email, file storage, monitoring and any paid APIs. Maintenance and new features are quoted separately.

How long does it take to build a SaaS product?

A SaaS product like the one in the table usually takes 10–14 weeks on Custom. Decisions about scope and waiting for feedback move the date more than the code does.

Is it cheaper to use no-code tools?

For a prototype, often yes. Teams usually rebuild when they hit limits on logic, speed, cost per user or owning their data. If you expect to grow, building on code you own avoids paying for the product twice.

how to use it.

  1. It starts as a web app with sign-in, a dashboard, payments and one integration. Change anything.
  2. Count distinct screens as pages: sign-in, dashboard, settings, billing and each main feature.
  3. Copy the link to share it with a co-founder, or send it to us for a fixed quote within 24 hours.

what it tells you.

The range comes from our published prices for design, development and 3D, placed by your app's scope. It is an estimate, not a quote.

For a first version, the cheapest path is usually fewer features done well: the MVP row in the table shows what that costs.
