GLB file size checker
A beautiful model that crashes a phone is not beautiful. Drop a .glb and find out if it will run, before your customers do.
Your model will appear here, ready to spin.
how to use it.
- Export your model from Blender or any 3D tool as a .glb file.
- Drop it on the checker, or tap to choose it. It is read in your browser and never uploaded.
- Spin the model and read its file size, triangles, draw calls and textures, with a verdict for a mid-range phone.
what it tells you.
The verdict uses our own rule of thumb for a mid-range phone, not an industry standard: under 5 MB, 200,000 triangles, 100 draw calls and 2048px textures.
If a model is over, the usual fixes are fewer triangles, smaller textures and fewer materials. Files compressed with Draco or Meshopt cannot be read here yet, so check the uncompressed export.
